Dear ASEE K12 and Precollege Engineering Division Members,

Greetings!  Welcome back to the school year.  We’re off to a quick start this year in the division and are eager to get you involved.

Well, the word is out now!  The College Board is seeking a Director for Engineering Curriculum & Content Development.  I hope that you will explore what they are doing merely to inform yourself if not consider applying for the position if it’s of interest to you.  More information is available about the position here: https://careers.collegeboard.org/viewjob.html?refnode=107331.

As I wrote about a couple of weeks ago, I have established some committees that were discussed at the Division’s business meeting.  The attached document describes the committees in varying levels of additional detail and names the committee chair(s) and any known members to date.  I hope that you will take the time to review the committees and sign up to participate in one or more!  This is a great way to serve your division and gain some great committee work that can be listed on your CV or resume.  We encourage participation from classroom teachers, university faculty and staff, members of industry, and informal educators – everyone really.  Simply email me at stacy.klein-gardner@vanderbilt.edu to express your interest and I will get you signed up.
