Dear ASEE K12 and Precollege Engineering Division Members,
Greetings! I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the end of summer. Or maybe you’re like me and find summer to be more stressful than the academic year?!
I am very excited to continue as the Chair of the division. I hope that my service to you, the division, and ASEE will help to promote engineering education and improve the quality of education for all students.
I have established some committees that were discussed at the Division’s business meeting. The attached document describes the committees in varying levels of additional detail and names the committee chair(s) and any known members to date. I hope that you will take the time to review the committees and sign up to participate in one or more! This is a great way to serve your division and gain some great committee work that can be listed on your CV or resume. We encourage participation from classroom teachers, university faculty and staff, members of industry, and informal educators – everyone really.
