Dear PCEE Division Members,
Your PCEE executive board has been working on special spending initiatives to support members and teachers in alignment with our vision, mission, and core beliefs. You have received email reminders this morning about two of those:
- A Social Media Challenge: How do you engage diverse students in inclusive engineering. See information at the end of this email (find the blue highlighting), or go here:http://precollege.asee.org/news/pceechallenge – Due Monday, May 1
- Scholarship Support for Teachers to Attend the PreK-12 Saturday Teacher Workshop in Columbus. See information at the end of this email (find the green highlighting), and go here to apply: https://virginiatech.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3rC6IWutK4tAHQh – Due Friday, April 28
Conference news: As part of the 2017 Interdivisional Town Hall meeting, ASEE is convening a Virtual Conference at the following site:
- 2017 ASEE Interdivisional Town Hall meeting
- “The Culture of Teaching”*
- Monday, April 24th (8am EDT) – Thursday, April 27th (11pm EDT)

- What is this? This is an exciting event focusing on twelve different aspects of our culture of teaching, contributed by the delegates from the co-sponsoring divisions. We’ll be using the responses to structure the hand-on activities at the Town Hall meeting itself in Columbus.
For those of you working on paper revisions or paper finalization for the Annual Conference and Expo in Columbus, papers must be finalized and uploaded by April 30!
Finally, we have three new job postings in the announcements, below. Other announcements (e.g., for some conferences/workshops) have been re-posted.
